Friendly atmosphere and delicious eats
I'm not sure how we stumbled upon it, but the first time we visited Banff several years ago, we stopped for a meal at Eddie Burger+Bar. We immediately fell in love with it. Now, each time we come back, we stop multiple times.

Why You Should Visit
As you likely already know, there are a ton of dining and drinking options in Banff. The Eddie offers a cozy atmosphere with great food, friendly servers and a steady stream of surfing or skiing videos on the television to motivate you to enjoy the area around you!
Spacing is limited, and you are able to use OpenTable to plan ahead. During the summer months, outdoor seating is available. The Eddie offers a variety of food options including burgers (obviously), chicken, as well as milk shakes (with our without booze) and delicious poutine.
The Signature Drink: The Trash Can
While there are many options for cocktails at Eddie Burger+Bar, my favorite and the most popular, is the Trash Can. The Trash Can is a mix of flavorful liqueurs, with a Red Bull (plain, sugar free, as well as flavored). There are a variety of Trash Can varieties such as the Original, Peach, Watermelon and more. I am not someone who drinks Red Bull or any energy drinks for that matter, but for some reason, the Trash Can is simply a delight.
If you're like me and don't do well with caffeine later in the day, plan your visit around lunch time so you can still sleep at night!
